The best thing about cancer is that if it is diagnosed early it can very much be cured. The most common cancers in India are cancer of cervix and breast in female while cancer of kidney, prostate and lungs are most common among the males. Some of the Cancers would be diagnosed by looking at the values in Complete Blood Count - Leucocytes, Lymphocytes etc which is part of the comprehensive cancer screening and check up package at Bharat Diagnostic in Bhiwadi and Manesar. For men prostate cancer can be detected at an early stage by testing Prostate Specific Antigen, Chest X-Ray would indicate any kinds of tumours in the lungs.
Occult Blood is also a good test for early detection of Cancer. Breast Ultrasound or Mammography are gold standards for early detection of Breast Cancer. Pap Smear is done for early detection of Cervix Cancer in Women. Ultrasound Abdomen would look for any kind of Space Occupying Lesions (Tumours) in the abdomen.
